The US-China trade negotiations could conclude by the end of February. The trade deal could lift most if not all tariffs between the two countries. But concerns remain over the time-table for enforcement of the new deal. Meanwhile telecomm giant Huawei intends to sue the US over forbidding federal agencies from using its products. China has continued to call for Canada to drop its case against Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou and is suing the Canadian government over the circumstances of her arrest.
