NY governor investigates Facebook’s data collection

A Wall Street Journal report propelled New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to open an investigation into how Facebook collects personal information, such as information from other apps (e.g. fitness or wellness) on smartphones, even when the user isn’t signed in or does not have a Facebook account.
