Microsoft wins $480 million military contract for AR headsets

Microsoft debuted their Hololens augmented reality headsets in a 2015 commercial, promising homes filled with silly holograms. While they still haven’t found a commercial market for their Hololens, they just found a market in the military, signing a $480 million contract with the US military.
